Terms of Service

We provide software to generate, edit, and host websites, along with related tools (booking, invoicing, client portals, and — on the freelancer plans — lead discovery). What’s included depends on your plan. We may improve, change, or discontinue features over time, and we’ll give reasonable notice of a material reduction to something you rely on.

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your login secure.
• You must provide accurate information and be authorized to use any business details, images, or content you upload.
• One person or business per account unless we agree otherwise.

Business site (done-for-you). You can build and preview a complete website for free — you only pay to publish it live.

• $39/month, or a $199 one-time build plus $15/month hosting. Both include 10 revisions.
• Your preview stays private to you until you subscribe. Nothing is charged until you choose to publish.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel anytime.
• If your subscription is cancelled or a payment fails, the published site is taken offline — but your content is kept and you can reactivate or export it (see the Cancellation Policy).

Freelancer & agency plans (the tool). Billed monthly or yearly and renew until cancelled. Build credits are added each cycle, roll over while your subscription is active, and don’t expire. Prices may change; we’ll give notice before a change affects your renewal.

You agree not to use the service to:

• Build or host content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, or harmful.
• Impersonate a person or business you don't represent.
• Abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to break the service or its limits.
• Resell the service in a way that violates these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or put the service or other users at risk.

You own your business and everything that makes it yours. To be specific:

• Your website and content are yours. The site we build, its copy, and the materials you provide belong to you. You can export the site and take it elsewhere at any time.
• Your customers are yours. Bookings, enquiries, and customer details that come in through your site belong to you. We do not contact your customers, market to them, or sell or share your data with anyone.
• Your domain is yours. If you connect your own domain, it stays registered to you — we just point it at your site.
• We claim no ownership of your content. You grant us only the limited permission needed to host, display, back up, and operate your site on your behalf. That permission ends when you delete your content or account.

The only thing we own is the underlying software and platform. Building your site with us never transfers any part of your business to us. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload (business names, logos, photos, and reviews).

We aim for reliable hosting but don’t guarantee uninterrupted service. Published business sites are served from our hosting; if the subscription ends, the site is taken offline while your content is retained per the Cancellation Policy.

The service integrates with third parties (e.g. Stripe for payments, mapping and review data, image and AI providers). Your use of those features is also subject to those providers’ terms. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.

When you create an account or subscribe, you agree to these Terms and the Refund Policy, and we record that agreement — the date, the policy version, and related account details. Because you build and preview your site for free before paying, you always see exactly what you’re buying before any charge.

If you ever have a billing concern, contact us first at hello@32layers.com — we resolve issues quickly and fairly. Opening a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank without contacting us first is a breach of these Terms; see the Refund Policy for how refunds work.

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above and a new policy version; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
